as someone working, studying, and specializing in the scientific, neuro-psychological and clinical field, i am not a fan of “trigger warnings”. experts have reported that they are ⠀⠀not efficient nor helpful ⠀⠀and counterproductive to their purpose. clinical studies have shown that “trigger warnings" enforce anxiety and negative states of mind and i would like to not be a part of that process. because of this, i will not be tagging anything as a “trigger warning”. you don’t have to agree with this, nor am i imposing this on you, it’s just a study i chose to practice. words have a lot of power. don’t follow if you don’t vibe.
to clarify: i just mean i don't use "tw" formatting, please do approach me if you need something specific tagged.

silena does die, but only ⠀⠀temporarily. ⠀⠀she's revived through the request of her mother, aphrodite, because of her sacrifice. she served a much bigger purpose and her story was not ever yet. she does remain "dead" for a short amount of time, just enough to heal and get acquainted with her newfound purpose in life. she's still at camp halfblood.
this isn't really a divergence but silena is 21 years old as a default with the canon timelapse.

her death lasts a few days, and she's "reborn" in the same body, completely healed aside from permanent scars.
this isn't really a divergence but silena is 21 years old as a default with the canon timelapse.
also not really a divergence but a portrayal note: regarding silena's ressurrection, i will be focusing on the lesser - known aspect of aphrodite's association as the goddess of war, "aphrodite the warlike". it'll impact silena's growth and progress, but not TOO intensely that it changes her entire persona.
